Hold the phone-it's freaking September tomorrow! AH! I am 90% excited, 10% frazzled. September means Fall, and Fall is everything to me. But really...where did this year even go? August was a bit of a blur to me. It was my first full month in my new position at work-and that basically kicked my butt and took up all my time and energy. It's hard adjusting to something new when you've been doing one thing for so long! I think I'm (somewhat) getting the hang of things though, so I'm excited for a new month that doesn't revolve around working long days and crashing the minute I get home!

Well this is embarrassing. I have one blog highlight because I only blogged once in August, *crickets*. Luckily my one post was full of color and included sushi! You can check out my DIY Painted Sushi Boards here.
1. Limit my phone use. Next week we're heading to Arizona for a friends wedding. Andy and I decided we would make a road trip out of it so we're spending 1 day in Vegas, 2 days at the Grand Canyon, and the rest of our time celebrating with our friends! We also have a handful of other things planned for the month-including seeing Zedd (low key freaking out just typing that), so my biggest goal is getting off my phone and enjoying my surroundings and my super cute husband!
2. Eat as "Whole 30" as possible. A friend and I have been wanting to do it, but September is a month with a lot of travel and random things to do and I don't think I can commit just yet. Definitely October, I'm thinking! Have any of you ever done Whole 30? I'd love to hear your experience.
3. Start Project Life. I think this resurfaces on my to-do list every few months and I still can't make it happen. We really want to have a book with all our photos from our first year of marriage. We're 6 months in and I have a stash of photos begging to be organized!
4. Go apple picking. Our all time favorite Fall activity! You can check out last years trip here.
What are some of your goals for September? I'd love to hear them!
