July Goals

It seriously feels like I was just jotting down my goals for June, and all of a sudden it's 30 seconds away from being July! GAH! Time is flying. June was a really fun month for us, and even though I'm sad to see it go, I'm so excited for July and all it has to offer!

June was all about outdoor walks for me. I've grown a deep appreciation for quick strolls in the middle of the day, and I'm excited to make it a daily habit! These walks have been the best for my soul, and my Instagram feed-haha ;)

June was also a very creative month for me. I've mostly been creating and making things for myself, things I more than likely won't be blogging about, but I think this is exactly what I've been needing. For a while now I've felt so uninspired, and I think stepping back and crafting just to craft was the best thing for me. I also got to enjoy a creative chat with two of my favorite creative friends, and that really helped me get my thoughts in order, which I am both thankful and really excited for. Our room has been a crafting zone, and I'm so appreciative of my husband for being cool about all the glitter and random crap on our floor constantly!

I also spent a lot of time with our little Duke, who is seriously getting cuter by the minute (though I might be biased). He's been in our lives for 2 years now, but for some reason he's been extra cuddly and loving and attached these days, which I am all for!

Andrew and I also got to go on a day long date, which we hadn't done in a while. We hiked the redwood trails, watched Inside Out, strolled through Downtown Disney, and played arcade games. He planned the entire day himself, which he was super proud of, and I had so much fun spending quality time with him! I really love being married :) I also had a really great salad while we were out, which of course I photographed. There are no photos of us on our date, but there are about 6 of my food. #priorities

We also took a trip to Las Vegas, watched a ridiculous amount of Netflix, and spent time with both of our dads and families! How was your month? Later this week we're headed to Palm Springs for a little getaway, so I'm eager to get this week going!

July Goals:
1. Re-brand and update my blog. I'm finally working with someone on this, and I'm super excited to make some major changes here!
2. Focus on blogging. I've really neglected my little piece of the internet for a while now, but I miss it and I finally feel that little something in me. Know what I mean?
3. Craft it forward. I want to start crafting and sending a little gift to someone once a month. I love snail mail, and I love crafting, so I want to pass that happiness on to others!

It's going to be a creative month! Hooray! What are your goals for July?

    1. Ah, a mailing list for that, what a good idea! :D I'm definitely thinking of ways to get this going so I can send crafts to different people/bloggers. Thanks for the (sort of) suggestion Carla haha :)
