May Goals

Happy Monday, and happy May! April felt like the longest month ever, and I am definitely not sad to see it go. I feel really burnt out from a month full of extremely long days at work, very few days spent with friends and family, and even less days spent on blogging and creativity. I'm excited for a much more relaxed (and colorful) month ahead! Also, can you believe we're almost at the half point mark of 2015? OMG. I'll give you a second to let that one sink in...

April was such a busy month, I feel like I barely saw Andrew. Obviously I'm exaggerating that one since we live together and I saw him every day, haha. Lucky for me, I married a very thoughtful man who knows the way to my heart is through flowers, so I enjoyed quite a few bouquets throughout the month!

I also made it a habit in April to step outside for a few minutes every day and take a quick walk around the neighborhood. Check out this eye candy I found above! Spring is seriously such a beautiful season!

We also celebrated 2 months of marriage! Naturally my sappy self took out a few of the accessories I used on our wedding day. I shared a few of our wedding photos here if you want to take a look.

And just as the month was ending and I was a huge ball of stress, I decided I needed more color in my life and I started a few fun projects. I haven't really taken the time to play with my creativity as much as I used to, so I'm really eager to keep this going through May!

Over the weekend we had our friends over for a taco fiesta/to watch the fight, which by the way was a total snooze fest. I don't know much about boxing (and by that I mean I don't know anything about boxing), so I'm really just saying that because that's what the general public thought ;)

On Sunday I went to the cutest little candy store/ice cream shop. If you live in Orange County and you like sweets and pretty things, B. Candy in Corona Del Mar is the spot for you. It's easily the most beautiful candy place I've ever been to!

On to some goal setting, aka my favorite thing to do!

May Goals:
1. Set aside a few hours every week to blog. I really want to make this one a priority for me!
2. Give our bedroom a mini makeover. I've been hit with the inspiration bug watching Victoria work on her bedroom!
3. Go on a creative field trip. Somewhere fun and colorful, of course.
4. Catch up on reading my bible. I've been doing a pretty terrible job lately.

What are some of your goals for the new month? Do you have any fun plans already set? I'd love to hear them!
