Now that it's almost Summer, I'm finding myself wanting to turn everything into popsicles or ice cubes. Admittedly, it doesn't ever get too cold here for me to have to skip out on ice cold treats, but something about even warmer days just makes me want to freeze everything that's edible! For today's treat, I wanted to turn my go to smoothie into a popsicle. What I love most about this is that it makes it perfectly acceptable to eat "dessert" during breakfast, and it's so good!
I started off by making a classic berry smoothie. In a blender I added frozen strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, a little almond milk, and some Mountain High Yoghurt. After that, all I did was divide the smoothie evenly into a popsicle mold and let them freeze over night. Super simple, quick, and healthy!
I didn't need to add any extra sugar or sweetener to this because the vanilla flavored Mountain High Yoghurt is already the perfect amount of sweetness for my taste buds! Not only is this yoghurt delicious, it's also great for you. With no added ingredients or gelatin, you can rest assured that your morning smoothie (or popsicle!) is only full of good things for your body. But my top favorite thing about Mountain High Yoghurt is their emphasize on only using milk from farms that don't treat their cows with growth hormones.
