Weekly Wishes #55

Happy Monday! I've got a serious case of the Monday blues, and even though I have a good chunk of the day free to be productive, there's a 90% chance I'll be going to Disneyland instead. Like really haha. Anyway, this weekend Andrew and I went to the Star Wars Celebration, which is a 4 day convention dedicated to all things Star Wars. I have to admit that I've never actually watched any of the movies (I know, I'm a monster). Nevertheless, it was such a fun event! I really enjoyed my husbands excitement over everything, and it was great seeing so many fans together in one (very giant) room! We got to sit in a panel where Mark Hammil (aka Luke Skywalker) and James Arnold Taylor spoke. The line to wait for that was seriously nuts, by the way. I saved our spot in line at 1pm for a talk that started at 6pm. I believe the auditorium fit about 5,000 people and they filled it to it's maximum capacity. The panels were really informative and interesting (and fun, because everyone LOST IT when Mark came out). The highlight for me was definitely James Arnold Taylor though. He voices hundreds of characters from Fred Flinstone to Johnny Test to Obi-Wan in the Clone Wars. He's also a voice double for tons of celebrities including Johnny Depp. Chances are, you've heard some of his work before. He was so fascinating! Do yourself a favor and watch him do his thing here. Incredible! Are any of you Star Wars fans?

On to some goal setting! Last week was a bit of a blur because I was so busy at work. Luckily, this week is a lighter week for me so I'll be able to tackle all the cleaning and blogging I've been neglecting!

Last Weeks Wishes/To-Do List:
1. Get to bed by 10 every night. Yeah, no.
2. Double my water intake.
3. Deep clean our bedroom and donate as much as possible.
4. Work on a 101 in 1001 List. YES! I'm slowly working on this one, can't wait to share it!

This Weeks Wishes/To-Do List:
1. Deep clean our bedroom and donate as much as possible.
2. Spend quality time with Duke & Andrew.
3. Get my creative juices flowing. This one is an open ended goal, but I really want to get creative this week in many ways!
4. READ. I'm the worst at reading and that needs to change!

What are some of your goals this week?

  2. HAHA even though I have watched some Star Wars movies I don't feel like I get it. So I am right there with you :) I miss being so close to Disneyland. I would use that annual pass hardcore during the week. Sometimes just to grab lunch in the park.
