Weekly Wishes #53

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a relaxing weekend! I chopped 13 inches of my hair off on Saturday, which was both terrifying and thrilling. Saturday was also the hottest day ever, so I picked a good day to get rid of my long hair. All that hair is currently sitting in a plastic bag, staring at me/waiting for me to stick in the mail and send it to Locks of Love! Yay! After my haircut Andrew and I went to Marie Callender's to celebrate Pi Day. I'm pretty sure we were the only people there under 50. Where do young people celebrate Pi Day, anyway? Marie's has to be the spot, I mean, all the pies. I spent the rest of the weekend cleaning, and listening to Christina Aguilera's Stripped album on repeat. I still think that is one of the most underrated albums ever. Seriously, every single song is just SO GOOD. Listen to it on Spotify, you won't regret it! Anyway, enough campaigning for Christina, let's set some goals.

1. Start my Spring Cleaning. Check!
2. Organize my schedule for March/April. Yes! Andrew and I sat down and actually planned a few things from now through June. We both work pretty opposite schedules so it's essential we plan way ahead, otherwise our days off don't align. Plus it gives us something to look forward to! We have a trip to Vegas planned, as well as a little getaway to Solvang in June for lavender season, yay!
3. Drink more water. I could have been better at this...
4. Start brainstorming fun ideas for Raewyn's baby shower. Yes! So excited!

This Weeks Wishes/To-Do list:
1. Drink more water. I finally downloaded an app to remind me!
2. Finish reading my book. I'm currently reading Mindy Kaling's book. Mindy is hilarious, but I started reading this right before I became the busiest I'd ever been before. It's a fun and easy read, so I want to get through it this week.
3. Continue Spring Cleaning. The first day of Spring is this Friday!!
4. Change my name. I was so determined to do this right away, but the thought of going to the DMV makes me want to curl up into a little ball and never come out again.
5. Go on a coffee spending freeze. I buy it too often when I should just be having it at home. #LazyNoMore

What are your goals for the new week?

  3. I just finished reading Mindy Kaling's book. Such a fun read. I haven't listened to Christina in so long haha but I think now I just might. I have been listening to Kelly Clarkson's new album though which is also really fun. So exciting that you cut off that much hair!! I've been thinking of getting a haircut lately too but I don't think I could do it that much shorter haha.

Good luck with your goals :)
