Weekly Wishes #44

Happy Monday! There is something so promising and exciting to me about this week. I've got nothing major going on, it just feels like it's going to be a great one! It might be the holiday cheer, perhaps. I spent my weekend doing more than I usually do, which was a nice change for me. I had a little ice cream date with a few blogger gals thanks to Creamistry. Their atmosphere is fun and their concept is awesome! Saturday night, Andrew and I went out to admire everyone's Christmas lights. I feel like this holiday season is flying and we haven't had the chance to do too many festive things, so I'm glad we made the time to do this over the weekend! Sunday, Melyssa and I drove to LA to check out the Shopbando popup shop. Their studio is a freaking dream! Glitter and disco balls and pink everywhere. I want to move in there, asap.

Anyway, that was my weekend. I am on a glitter high and ready to take on the week! Last week I talked about my December goals, and then went all ghostly on here and never came back. It's been a bit of a recurring trend, but I always feel really productive and inspired after hanging out with Melyssa and creatives in general, so I'm going to try to keep that energy this week.

This Weeks Wishes/To-Do List:
1. Have fun blogging. I think my biggest problem is I plan certain projects way too far in advance and then once it's time to actually make a post happen, I'm a little over the idea. This week I'd really like to focus on content that is more organic and exciting to me. Cocktail recipes, anyone? :)
2. Wedding shizzzz. All the wedding shizzzz.
3. Spend time relaxing with Andrew and Duke. We haven't slowed down to just enjoy the season, watch a movie, drink hot chocolate. You know, all the cheesy, obligatory, wonderful things about this time of year!
4. Finish decking the halls. We've put up a bit of decor, but our tree hasn't actually gone up yet since we've been pretty busy lately. It's killing me.
5. Drink more water. I am terrible at it this time of year.

What are your goals for the week?

  7. Great photos! Love those disco balls <3 I know what you mean about planning too far ahead. It's hard to find the right balance! I usually plan no more than 2-3 weeks out but I keep a brainstorm list for random ideas that pop in my head.
