Thursday Things

Happy Friday Eve!
My brain feels fried I'm going to dump a few things on you today...

-I've been frantically watching season 4 of Pretty Little Liars before the season 5 premiere next Tuesday and I just have so many questions. The biggest one do these girls get away with doing so much on a school night?!? Like...where are their parents all the time??

-Also, Ezra potentially being A makes him about 10 times hotter. If they kill him off in season 5 I might actually roll over and die.

-Andrew and I are so excited for the World Cup! We've already arranged our schedules so we don't miss most of the bigger games. You should also know I've arranged my life so I don't miss any PLL episodes. I'm not even ashamed about any of this.

-Oh, Andrew and I have gone for a run every day this week and I'm pretty sore. It's been incredibly fun but my body feels like I've been hit by a bus or something. It'll pass with time, but for now...wah.

-Do any of you have computer time routines with your significant other? Andrew and I always sit in the same room after dinner and he plays video games while I blog/catch up on blogs. Sometimes I glance over at his screen and I'm totally perplexed by the odd games he plays though. At this very moment while I blog, he's watching a live stream of a guy playing a game while eating pizza. Apparently this guys live feed shows 12,000 people watching him. TWELVE THOUSAND PEOPLE are watching a guy eat pizza and play a card game. I don't understand.

-Soooooo....blogging and society in general, makes me feel like after I get married I'm going to have to buy a house and have kids right away and live a really fabulous life as a young mom/wife...except, I don't want that. THERE, I said it. I don't want to buy a house. I don't want to have kids. I don't want to settle down and enjoy staying home every week night just because I'm married. Andrew and I have done a lot of talking about this subject, and ultimately we've both decided to wait on the house and kids thing. It's just too much, and we're still so young. We want to travel a lot our first few years of marriage. We want to continue to be a little selfish for a while and not worry about a mortgage and children. Is that totally bad? Don't get me wrong, I want a bunch of little mini-me's and our own home at some point...just not any time soon. I hate feeling like I have to explain these choices or apologize for our preferences, so I'm not going to feel that any longer. Andrew and I are on the same page and that's all that matters. Does anyone else ever feel slightly guilty when they go against the norm?

-Speaking of going against the norm...I'm going to be honest and tell you that I am TERRIFIED of cats. Every time I'm around one I feel like I have to guard my feet while they sniff me. I also tend to avoid visiting people when I know they have cats in their home. Lucky for me, Andrew's pretty allergic to them so I get to use that as an excuse.

-Has anyone downloaded the Pippit app? Am I just the worst blogger ever if I say I don't want to pay $2 for another form of social media? I can barely manage Twitter and Instagram, pretty sure I can't keep up with anything else. PS I'm a sucker and will probably end up downloading it at some point. I just like to pretend I'm standing my ground.

-Also, check this video out! Holy crap. Talk about the best groomsmen ever! If you've read my About Me, you'll know that I was once (and still am) beyond obsessed with Justin Timberlake. Dear guys in our wedding party, I know you don't read my blog...or even know it exists, but if you could memorize all of JT's sweet dance moves for me that would be great. Or if you could get him to come to the wedding, that would be even greater. Thanks.

Thanks for listening to my odd thoughts. I'm linking up with Nicole for Treat Yo Self Thursday!

Cheers to it almost being the weekend!

  1. OMG I need to catch up on PLL! I don't know how none of them flunked out of school already! :] // ☼

    1. I'm spending a lot of my weekend catching up! Also, I don't get how they haven't flunked either! It's like Gossip Girl. So much underage drinking and ditching school and they still end up at Brown and Yale haha.

  2. 1. I used to watch PLL but then when I was in massage school during week nights I totally fell off that train. I dont even think i'd be able to catch up.
    2. We dont have a "set" time, but Leo will often go write lyrics at his computer (which is in our room) while I sit in the living room blogging, or whatever. It's nice.
    3. NO you are totally not weird! You are so young and if you can go do those things , GO DO THEM!!!! That is definitely not a selfish desire.
    4. Avocados are 4 for $1 at a store by me and I wanted to tell you kbye love youuuuu ♥

    1. Andy sometimes tries to watch PLL with me but he asks too many questions so I rarely let him join me! If you miss something it's basically game over with that show. Also, 4 for $1 avocados=PERFECT!!!!! I LOVE YOUUUUU

  3. OMG I do the same thing when I look over at my fiance Kevin's computer screen it's gaming or watching so weird video of guys playing a game. Don't get it, but it makes him happy!
I think that you should do what makes you happy and in the order you want to do things. Tradition such as getting married, buying a house, and having kids is not really a tradition anymore. More and more people do these out of order or not at all. As long as your happy and satisfied who cares what other people think. It's your life.
Never heard of Pippit. What is it??
    Happy Friday!

    1. Pippit is an app created by a few bloggers, I'm not sure how it works really...all I know is that it merges all your blog posts and Instagram photos into one place I believe! Just look for the Pippit hashtag on Instagram and you'll find more info. Hope you're having a really great weekend so far!

  4. I'm waiting for season 4 of PLL to show up on Netflix... is it on already? UGH if Ezra is killed off I will be so mad!!! Ezaria is supposed to stay together forever!

    1. It's not on Netflix yet! I couldn't stop myself and I bought it on itunes! AH! I'm a sucker. Also, I agree that Ezria has got to be together FOREVER. ALSO, sometimes I think that Ezria as a couple is head A. :)
