Weekly Wishes #14: March Goals

Happy March, Blogland!!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
I spent mine enjoying the rain, drinking tea, snuggling Duke, and crafting! It doesn't get better than that I tell ya!

Speaking of Duke, he had a little photo shoot this weekend so he insisted I show off his modeling skills this morning.

 Such a little diva.
Eye boogies and all...

March is a promising month full of excitement and FUN!
Before I jump into my March goals...

Let's recap my February goals...
1. Throw a fabulous Blogger Brunch. Check! Read all about it HERE!
2. Send 2 care packages to any random soldiers. Check!
3. Bake 4 gluten free desserts (1 a week). Check!
4. Take a cake decorating class.
5. Find new coffee shops in my neighborhood. Check! We wrote out our wedding guest list at my new favorite coffee shop. Read all about it HERE!
6. Give my little ol' blog a facelift. It's coming, I promise!
7. Let things go. So so...
8. Go on many fun dates with Andy-and blog about them. We went on a lot of fun dates but I really only blogged 2. Read about them HERE and HERE!
9. Workout 2-3 times a week. So so...
10. Catch up on Project Life. Check!
March Goals:
1. Take a cake decorating class
2. Give my blog a facelift. Like, actually.
3. Sponsor a few blogs. It's time.
4. Throw another fabulous Bloggers Giving Back event! Stay tuned for details on this!
5. Celebrate Andy all month long. It's his birthday on the 23rd!
6. Ask our friends to be in our bridal party.
7. Make the final decision on our venue and ceremony space.
8. Finish watching Breaking Bad (go ahead and laugh at my priorities)
9. Let things go. Last month I wanted to get myself out of my people pleasing ways (note: I wasn't very successful). I really need to get past all of this. You truly cannot please every person that crosses your path. Not everyone will like you, not everyone will accept when you apologize to them. I can say it out loud, I just can't apply it to my life. This is one of my biggest goals this month.
10. Relax. Seriously, February was an emotional roller coaster. Read all about that HERE. I want to relax and live in the moment and just enjoy myself this month.

What are your March goals?

  1. Congrats on the nuptials! I'm sure you're friends are psyched for the wedding. I just recently got into a Breaking Bad kick as well. My husband and I just started season 3. Gah! BTW- I would never laugh at this priority! I completely understand what you mean about letting things go, relaxing and living in the moment. It's so hard to achieve and moreover maintain. I try every day and sometimes, I still fall short. So, I wish you the best. Anyhow, hope you're having a fantastic Monday as well! HUGS!

    1. I'll spill my secrets to you since I doubt any of my girlfriends will be lurking around here haha, but I've actually invited them all for a "girls lunch" and I've put together some little bags with bridesmaids sashes, mini champagne bottles, and a few other girly things! I'll be writing all about that once it actually happens, so I hope you'll be back for that :)
