Weekly Wishes #9

Hellooooooo!
And HAPPY HAPPY MONDAY!!!!!

It's actually Sunday as I write this and I'm watching the Grammy's, swooning over T. Swifts dress, hoping she'll perform All Too Well tonight aka my FAVORITE song. Also, can we just briefly talk about Beyonce's chair performance? GEESH! She can do no wrong.

A few snap shots from our fun week/weekend!

K, back to it being Monday.

I realize I kind of fell off the blogosphere last week...if you missed this, Andy and I got engaged last Monday!! It was a total surprise, and the entire week was full of many celebrations...WAY TOO MUCH EXCITEMENT EVERYWHERE!!
BUT, I'm back now, and I am SO excited to share a million and one things with all of you this week!!

But first, let's set some goals and make some wishes...

This Weeks Wishes/To-Do List:
1. Go on a hike/workout at least 3 times this week. Not only did we celebrate our engagement last week, it was also my birthday week soooo...I'm in desperate need of some exercise to work off all those indulgences!
2. Get back to a better sleep routine. I was on wedding blogs for HOURS soon after we got engaged and my bedtime went out the window pretty much every night for this same reason.
3. Organize my thoughts about our wedding. I've basically planned and re-planned a wedding in my head about a million times, but now it's real life and it is so overwhelming. Any tips, anyone?
4. Go on a date with Andy. I know, I know, we spent all week celebrating our engagement together, but we celebrated with quite a few people. We're used to having at least one date alone during the week, and that's something I want to keep alive no matter how hectic things get in the months to come!
5. Reach out/comment on more blog posts. I've noticed that I'm quite a bit of a ghost follower, even when I really enjoy a post and have thoughts to share. Bad habit and I need to turn that around.

What are your goals for the week?

  5. A very belated birthday! I totally forgot with your news of your engagement! Said it before, but so happy for you guys, you look supersweet together :-)

I'm with you on the getting a better sleep routine, to me it's just about blogs in general, so much to see and do! And have fun planning your wedding, never let the stress get the better of you. There's a solution for everything and in the end you and Andy are that only thing that should matter!

    Have a great week!

  6. Congrats on your engagement!!!! So exciting! Can't wait for your wedding planning posts! P.S. My two main tips are to relax, enjoy, and don't let the wedding cause unnecessary stress. And to make a gmail account for all your wedding related emails. You will start to get spammed with wedding stuff, especially when you start requesting quotes for things. We made a gmail account that was like "LaurenAndrewWedding@gmail" or something like that- it helped us keep all the wedding stuff together and we both had access to it. It worked out great.

    1. Thanks Lauren! Thanks for your tips as well! I'm definitely already stressed and tense and it's only been a week! I think I might hold off on the planning till mid February or so and just enjoy being engaged for a bit! I'm making an email account for us asap! Thanks for that idea!

  7. Wow, congratulations! Engagement is such a fun time!
I'm a ghost follower a lot of times, too. I'm more active when the blogger interacts with the commenters though.
