Weekly Wishes #7

Happy Monday everyone! I've been anxiously awaiting MONDAY!! Crazy, I know. See, though I LOVE the holidays, I also love routine. New Year's Day landing on a Wednesday didn't really inspire me to jump into my 2014 goals right away...My brain and heart were both still on vacation!
But now, it's Monday, 2014 is in full swing, and I am ready to rock this week!

This Weeks Wishes/To-Do List:
1. Take down our Christmas tree. I've got mixed feelings about this, but it must be done. Sigh.
2. Complete 10 day juice cleanse. Andy and I watched Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead on Netflix the other night and it was life changing! We were so inspired, that we decided we should give it a try. We just had our first juice this morning and Andy immediately asked for bacon and eggs...
3. Start/try out hot yoga. I mentioned on Friday that I was going to try out a studio near me. I just signed up last night and will be activating my pass tomorrow morning. In the mean time, I'm drinking a TON of water so I don't pass out and die of dehydration.
4. Go on a hike.
5. Start our weekly devotional. Andy surprised me with a devotional for dating couples a few months ago and for one reason or another we just haven't gotten around to it. But this week we really have no excuses!
6. Work on week 1 of Project Life. Is anyone else starting their own project?
7. Learn how to make ketchup!
8. Take Duke to the doggy beach.
9. Go to Disneyland! I haven't been since December 17th. and I'm having serious, serious withdrawals. There you have it, my first world problem of the day.
10. Not cry about going back to school on Wednesday. Will probably fail.

Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a fantastic Monday!

  1. I have started doing yoga and I'm curious about hot yoga, too. However, being hot makes me irritable, so I wonder how that would go being that yoga is supposed to be relaxing! Good luck with your goals!

    1. The studio I'm attending has different levels of heat, so some classes are warmer than others. I'm going to start easy and move up from there! Thank you for the support!! :)

    1. Target has the best stuff right?!? I bought most of my Project Life stuff at Micheal's and I used a coupon so I didn't spend too much! I also saw on Etsy that a few shops sell a lot of the materials at a significantly lower price! I'll make sure to post my first week once I"m done with it!

  3. Oh Jess I love that you have so many goals - you're reminding me that I really need to get back into my weekly wishes!I took down our tree on Saturday and it almost killed me. I kept the lights in the living room in a vase though to ease my out of the season gently. Get on that visit to Disneyland stat- it's sure to take the sting out of school on Wednesday, you can do it :)

  4. learn how to make ketchup!! Ambitious and scary!!!! Great goals! I LOVE Hot yoga! I love it because I usually freeze during yoga and have it heated allows me to stay a decent temperature during. If it wasn't for the heat I won't practice! Hope you have a great week!

  5. That looks like such a cute agenda :-) love the composition of the pic btw!

I've been thinking about taking up yoga too, not sure if I would like to do hot yoga, really curious to hear if you like it :-)

And make your own ketchup, that would be a great post to share :-) never tried it

Our tree is so not coming down yet, love that sight too much to have it removed after a few weeks, luckily I can use the little one as a perfect excuse!

    Happy Monday!
