It's Monday! Grab yourself a cup of coffee and stay a while!
After what feels like forever...I am FINALLY feeling much better! I seriously felt like that change in medicine on Monday night was going to be the end of me. Okay, I may be exaggerating just a bit...but really, I'm so thankful to be feeling like myself again. I don't think I could handle another week of my four tiny walls! For my new readers, I'll cut my sob story short by explaining really quickly that I am undergoing treatment for precancerous cells in my right breast. Cute. I know. I'll be on medication until late April, and though that sounds pretty terrible, I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in my small intestine two years ago and I powered through that like a champion, so I'm surprisingly relaxed (and confident) about treatment this time around. I do get pretty sick more often than not, but I truly feel so lucky to be able to live my life just like any 22 year old, going out with friends, working, going to school. I'd say it's more toned down than I'd like it to be, but I'm working with what I have/can do!
Now, back to regular programing.

My weekend was wonderful! I was feeling better(ish) on Friday, so Andy and I went to Disneyland for a bit. The park is really busy this time of year, which makes me even more thankful for my annual pass! We watched my favorite show, Mickey & the Magical Map, and walked around marveling at all the Christmas decor and just enjoying each others company + eating crazy amounts of kettle corn. I worked Saturday, which after an entire week off I was so excited to be back! I work with kids, so every day is a new adventure. Saturday we recorded our audition tape for American Idol (hehe) and worked on our fine motor skills by decorating Christmas cookies. I truly love my job! On Sunday, my nieces and nephews came over to decorate our Christmas tree. It's one of my favorite traditions as I love those kids like they're my own. Being an aunt is one of the greatest things.
Andy and I really fell behind on our holidates last week since I was sick. Lucky for me he's basically the greatest guy in the world and he kept me company and watched endless amounts of Friends episodes with me every day! Today we'll be having a marathon date when he gets off of work, which I am so excited about! We're going ice skating, watching the Disneyland fireworks, checking out a few holiday lights around our neighborhood and watching Elf! I love the holidays, in case you didn't know...
On to my wishes...
It's not even noon and I am already rocking my Monday! I had an extremely early doctors appointment this morning, I completed/turned in all my paperwork for work (2 days early mind you, I should get a shiny gold star), I organized my clothes for laundry which I will be doing in a bit, and I cleaned out my car!
This Weeks Wishes/To-Do List:
1. Laundry (it never ends)
2. Finish all my Christmas gift shopping.
3. Do all my cleaning/errands before the weekend.
4. Purchase toys for the toy drive at CHOC in a few weeks.
What are your goals this week?
