Happy Monday! Just a quick post while I sit here sipping coffee before I get my day started. I've been having really leisurely mornings, and some leisurely days to be honest, and I could not be more grateful. It's taken me a serious amount of time...over two years...to feel at peace with my health situation and the way God twisted things around for me. The more and more I think about it though, the more I'm starting to see this as a blessing. I've been able (forced) to slow it down, and in turn it's made me appreciate my day to day a lot more. A few moments in the morning to slowly drink my coffee, puppy play time, serious TV watching. Everything in my life has felt quite relaxed. I'll admit it makes me flustered and angry at times, but I do think I'm doing a little better coming to terms with everything. I haven't been feeling my best, so lazy relaxed time has been much appreciated. I am very grateful for my life (even when I'm crying sick in bed...which happens quite a bit). Here are a few shots from my life last week. And some thoughts. Because who DOESN'T want to know what's going on in my head??
My brother, Andy and I went to Disneyland for one attraction and lunch last Wednesday. Even one hour of Disney magic can perk up your day!
Puppy naps during Breaking Bad marathon. I just got into this show (I know, I know, I'm always way behind on everything!)...AHHHH! I seriously break into a sweat watching this show, it makes me SO nervous. I can't watch the series finale till I'm done catching up, but till then I'm on the edge of my couch just holding on for dear Walt's life! Also, once I finally get to watch the finale, I really want to make a mocktail version of this Blue "Meth" Cocktail.
More Duke cuteness + eye boogies...
I had this vanilla lemonade at the Blackmarket Bakery at The Camp. So. Yummy. Perfect lemonade tartness but a delicate kick of vanilla as an after taste. I'm a strictly vanilla type of girl so this lemonade truly spoke to me! Mmmmmmmm!
Tomorrow is OCTOBER.
Where has the time gone?? I just don't know! 32 days till Halloween, 60 days till Thanksgiving, 85 days till Christmas! No biggie. Who's counting anyway, right??
I (sort of) watched another football game yesterday. It's getting interesting, I'll admit. Also, while Andy watched football, I baked a pie from scratch. It's like we were a household in the 50's.
Yesterday was National Coffee Day, so naturally I had breakfast for dinner along with a few cups of coffee.
Seriously, what is up with Walt's wife? She drives me nuts.
That is all for my morning coffee thoughts. My life is currently consumed by Breaking Bad clearly. It's madness!
Thanks so much for stopping by, have a lovely Monday!
